Slinky it is! I had to use my little point and shoot so that the lens would fit inside of it. Colors were predetermined by the slinky. I was thinking of doing it black and white, but ended up digging the rainbow.

If the focus was sharp at the end of the tube instead of inside the tube I think it would work better.

It's nicely colorful though.

I tried those but my chosen background for the end of the slinky was wrinkled aluminum foil. When it was in focus it looked like, well, wrinkled aluminum foil.
