iPad states compatibility with raw formats. That's not 100% accurate. It simply reads the embedded jpg rather than the raw data. My camera's dng with embedded jpg was intended for quick preview at thumbnail sizes.... it means that the photos direct from raw look very pixellated when viewed via the ipad. That's unless I set my camera with dng+jpeg which also means more space consumed on the sd card
