Obviously quality, but i mean like, would a $40 one be really bad since theres some that go up to like $150?
What about the quality is worse?

well no, because the reason screw-in filters are more expensive than plate filters is because theyre made differently, with different sizes and the like
im pretty sure a $40 plate filter is at least decent quality, but i wont really know for sure till it comes in the mail hahah
