Not true at all. First picture ever to see how it worked was my Kitchen Aid mixmaster box. So lame.

My first DSLR photos were of the Terracotta Warrior exhibit at the NatGeo in DC circa November 2009.

I didn't HAVE a cat back when I got my first SLR (in pre-D-times), and I could actually go and find out what my first photo was, but I have an appointment with a nice beer in a bar in only minutes from now, so I can't be bothered to actually look for it... It might have been one or the other of my kids, maybe?
