Shalimar Perfume Bottle:

Wondering more so what anyone thinks of the lighting to the left side of the bottle?- if it is too harsh overall or should it be softened? Any C&C greatly appreciated.

I think the bottle's reflecting too much of the light right into the camera. Not only on the curves of the glass, but on the left of the label, right by the S. I don't know much about this stuff as I'm new, but people say the angle matters a lot, you could try repositioning your light source and maybe get less reflection.

thanks for the comment. i agree with you about the harshness of the light -ill try a reposition

it's pretty, especially with the blue stopper.

Yeah, a few too many reflections, particularily on the label. I would stop it down a bit, because the top know feels like it should be in focus (my eyes are drawn to it). It also looks pretty soft (not sure why) and something is up with the bottom unless the "foot" is actually oval-ish like that.
