Kentucky Sunset

Trying out some new ideas... feedback/ advice encouraged!!

Welcome to the forum. I like the colours, but, for me, there is too much in the foreground and it appears that a lot of it is out of focus. I find the foreground to be a distraction to an otherwise very nice sunset. if there was a way to get rid of the grasses sticking up into the image and just leave that thin area of grass along the bottom so nothing is obscuring the sunset, that, for me, would be much better.

Agree with WesternGuy. The colors are very nice, but the foreground is distracting.

Do you have any without the foreground or just a little foreground?

It's just the grasses blocking the sky that are a little distracting -- easy clone job -- nice shot.

Nice start Ysarex, but personally, I would not have placed any long grass in the foreground. The short grass that is there is quite sufficient IMHO, to establish a good foreground for a lovely image as the tall grass is still a distraction for the colours in the waters. It is this reflection which makes a significant part of the image and I would not have placed anything in the viewer's way.
