I do like the clean balck and white conversion, but the stick in the top right corner is distracting, you may want to bring the crop in a bit tighter.

We were out hunting wolverine.

We set camp and in the morning we saw it. I think it's dead now cause I shot it, with a frickin' 12 guage, heck yeah!

I think a tighter crop would bring your attention more to the figure and then the eye would travel better to the waves. Leave the nessie picture for the National Enquirer.

The problem here is that the image is not focused. Black and white can't bring that back. Try a really good sharpening.
Great idea though.
