Once again I beseech the opinion of the photography experts!

I have a Canon PowerShot A95. According to the manual, it supports the following lenses:

    - Wide Converter WC-DC52
    - Tele-converter TC-DC52A
    - Close-up Lens 250D

These are all 52 mm, I believe.

To use any of these lenses, it requires a Conversion Lens Adapter LA-DC52D. Is 52 mm a standard lens size? If so, would any 52 mm lens work with my camera (provided, of course, that I bought the adapter)? I'm hoping that 52 mm is a standard lens size so that I'll be able to keep these lenses even if I sell my camera.

    Thanks!

Yes, I think 52mm is a standard thread size. So once you get the adaptor you would be able to use any 52mm filter.
