Lunar eclipse (clear sky)

    Yep, me too. Hope you like them (sorry about the delay, life got on the way)

    1. Here we see the penumbral part, while the umbral is too dark.

    2. As the penumbra grew smaller, I changed to expose for the umbra.

    3. Total. I messed the focus. :grumpy:

    I find it quite ironic that I got a clear sky... to go with my poor skills.

    Wow, 'the end' is a killer shot.

    The pics I took were like your second one...focused on the shadowed part, and the rest a little too bright.

    Aren't you lucky to get such lovely shots - they have set up a golf driving range in Ely a couple of miles away to add to the light pollution already bad from the sodium street lighting. The range lights can cast shadows in our garden like moonlight!
