It is interesting, to be sure.
 
So far it's an even split, for such an early version that's saying a lot about it's potential for the future releases.

Thanks for taking part, I didn't think anyone at all would find it interesting so this is a surprise.
The images captured are a lot of fun to play around with. At around $300.00 they are well worth the cost just to experiment with and make some family records the kids will have fun viewing if nothing else.
 
when they can install massive computing & storage, it might take over moviemaking where focusing is all manual.

No, I dont think this is a technology of the future.

The useage in the Canon 5D4 makes a lot of sense. Awesome stuff.

But the original Lytro cameras have sensors with HUGE resolution, but only produce images with very low resolution. Quite frankly thats not useful.



The idea is neat, but the products are very, very shitty.
The products are very new
You ignored my explanation WHY the product is bad and should be avoided.
