From the D70 to the D200 to finally, and lastly, to the D700. Haven't received it yet but I'm looking forward to the UPS delivery sometime next week. Not quite sure of my existing lenses. There is always a learning curve with new (to me) technology. Anybody have the ideal glass suggestion(s)?

Your lenses appear to be fine. With the D700 you will be seeing them in a whole new way. WHat are you shooting and do you plan on moving into a diffrent type of subject matter as well.

You will LOVE the D700, but you already knew that. A friend of mine, has a D700, his favorite lens is the 14-24 2.8. It's nice and wide. Your lenses will do fine, but I would consider the 14-24 and a 70-200...

Why not save your self the trouble of countless camera purchases and just buy one of these.

Yeah, I think 14k is a bit much for most people.

But then again, the last digital you'll ever have to buy...

The price is steep, but you get a lot of camera. More then likely the last camera you will ever buy. If you drop 2 grand for a new body once or even once every three years you end up saving money with the DL 28.
