Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have a DSLR from the Sony Alpha Series and by default, whenever i go to manual the photo shows really dark. I know i must change to a higher ISO, but im not sure how to...Does anyone have a camera from the SA series that can help me?

Did you even meter the scene ? you can't just turn it to manual set it to say F5.6 1/125 and expect it to work you have to use the meter

Look up the terms 'Exposure', 'Shutter Speed', 'Aperture' and anything else related to basic exposure. Then read your camera's manual...twice.

i have an alpha 200 too...when you set it at manual....use the roller to change shutter speeds...( 1/200, 1/60 etc..) to move the the meter to 0 (zero) or +/- values (depends).. the aperture is set by pressing the (+/-) button while rolling the roller....use the meter, the arrows...on the side of the meter tell you which way to roll so that the shutter speed will change to make your exposure work depending on the aperture (5.6 ,11 etc)

Thank you Gryphon and Dex especially, it was more of a hands-on learning thing
