I Shoot with a Nikon D300S I've been wanting to get a medium format camera for a while. My bday is coming up and was hoping to get some advice, info, feedback. Please assist.

Thanks

1. Gather a ton of cash before your birthday
2. Go Here: Hassleblad@B&H
3. Click Add to cart
4. Say goodbye to 60 grand after lenses
5. Smile knowing you are one of the very few that can upgrade from a D300S to a Hassleblad

Cheers!

...Wondering why this is in the 'Nikon' section...

As far as I know Nikon has never made a medium format camera... If you were hoping to use the lenses you have already, you can forget about that.

What's your budget?

You're talking about digital or analog MF?
You do realize, that MF cameras are slow, big and most of the time you need to have them mounted on a tripod?

Besides wrong place, bro.

Medium format cameras are made by Pentax, Mamiya, Rollei, Leica, Hasselblad, Holga, Lomography, Voigtlander, and others, but no Nikon's.

Some of them are rangefinders, some are TLR's, and some are SLR's. Some can be used with both film and digital backs.

Prices range from $65 for a Holga to more than $40,000 for a 60 MP digital backed Hasselblad and an 80 mm lens .
