Amazing work as always. Very impressive!

I always look forward to your posts... Fantastic as usual.

#1 Purple Finch
#2 Cerulean Warbler (but only one wing bar?)? This is my favorite.
#3 Juvenile Northern Cardinal?

Also :gurgle: on a seven pound lens!

we call the first one a house finch, the second, a blue jay, and the third is a female northern cardinal.

7.3 pounds, heavier then the anchor for my 24' boat! good thing I have been working with heavy stuff all my life.

I'll still bet on #1 being a purple finch. The tail is behind a branch, but it look notched to me. House finches have a tail that is straight across the end. #2 is indeed a bluejay. Don't know how I missed that. :er:. I wish we had cardinals in California.
