i like the second one with the shadows of the trees on the snow and the sun

but i have a question, whenever i take pictures of snow my pictures always come out overexposed, when u took these did u purposefully underexpose the pictures by messing with aperture or shutter speed?

I have a kodak cx7330 so the only thing i can mess with really is the exposure compensation besides the shooting mode im in. Are these overexposed? Should i have set the exposure compensation lower? I just want to know how i could have made these better with what i have... i left it on automode and didnt set the exposure compensation up or down, i let the camera do the work...

Sorry newbie :(
