Uhm, that does not seem too HDR to me. We have some effect on the water here, which seems much less bright and with more structure than it would look in a normal image with the given foreground and background.

But most of the remaining image is rather underexposed in a way that the water looks sort of alien, not belonging there ...
 
Its hard to say if something is an HDR shot if you dont see the originals.
Personally, I think if you used the HDR process to even out the exposure levels, or brighten up a shadow with HDR, then that pretty much counts.
And the ones that you cant tell are actually HDR, are usually the better looking ones.

The high contrast of the water, while interesting, is a bit much.
Try brightening up the brick, should make the overal photo blend better.
Water is surprisingly clear for an HDR, I find my HDR shots get a bit blurry.
 
Mental note: Water + HDR = very interesting.
