My first try :)

Hello,
I;m new to the board & my camera too. I just got my Nikon D50 & these are my first attempts at some decent photos. The feel I am going for is just capturing the image of a true child. These are my two younger sisters, & the blonde is my daughter. Please let me know what you think & offer any advice you might have.

Hi, Welcom. Nice job on your photos. The first one of the face is good and you tried not to get the full face, but the expression. The last one has a bit more interest in that the child is doing something, although the stance is a bit ackwar. There is interesting perspsective on the second last photo that makes it stand out.
