Ide try to lessen the light a bit to pop out the upper end of the bolt.. but that is fantastic!!!

What did you do to get this shot.. What setting and such and I guess it was on a tripod??

Tell us more and do it again.

I want a good shot like that but we have not had a good storm for a month and when we did I was in Amarillo!

Yeah camera was on a tripod set at remote 1/15 at f3.5. You bet the thunder was loud. That day we had an awesome light show, about two weeks ago. I caught several but that one was the most impressive.

Sick! now go play lotto i think thats pretty lucky at 15th of a sec. I was taking 30 second exposures @ F8 on the beach to get my 1st Lightning shot.
