Need help with taking pictures of nail art

Hi everyone this is my first post.

I have some lovely nail art tips that I would like to put on my website and in an album but I just cant seem to get a good picutre at all!!! :x

I have just bought a panasonic Tz8 lumix camera as the man in the shop said it was a really good camera to take close up pictures of my nail art.

I have also bought the white cube and 2 lights but am struggling to get the lighting right. (no idea where to place the lights)

I place my nail art on a white tile so it has a nice white back ground but I am getting loads of shadows.

Any advice would be great.

You really need to post an example photo and a photo of your light setup so we can see what's going on, or at least describe the lights and camera settings you're using.

If you are getting unwanted shadows you're likely going to need to adjust the placement of the lights.

this is the lights, table top box, I also have the big white tent but its far to big to use. white tile to place the nail art on and coloured cloth to put nail art on.
