Hey all,

Just picked up my first dslr Nikon d-90 and have no idea on how to use it. I am sure I'll spend most of my time reading and reading and reading some more before posting any pictures.

first of all ... Welcome to TPF.
Congrats on getting your first DSLR ... best thing to do is to just read the manual and try to get as much information as possible and then practice taking shots in different modes with various settings.

you'll do just fine =)
