New in the TPF family :)

Hi, i'm new to these forums. I've been around photography since I was born. My father was a photography enthusiast back in his college days, he owned a canon F1n (1976 Montreal Olympics version) with many lenses, converters and flash. I also live near a photo studio where the owner is a close friend of the family.

Anyways, i've always been intrested in all forms of photography especially portraiture and landscape. But I never really did anything about...until now. The studio (the one near me) was selling a used Nikon D70s along with a 18-70mm lens. I bought without hesitation Since that day, I've been reading up on photo techniques, tricks, advice etc. The studio also let me come along at weddings to help out the photographer.

So that's my story so far, just thought you might want to know I have a feeling i'm going to be asking alot of questions on these the forums.
