Here is a photo shoot I did with a girl today. She is 14. Her ma wanted some nice pictures of her. She is the type of girl that never wears nice clothes, or smiles, but since she did a good job at "cleaning up, and poseing nice" for her mom. We agreed to let her do "her look" as well. After I told them I do work photographing bands, she said that sounded cool. Her older brother was in a band, and a bunch of guitars were lying around. I quick put this set together, and this is the result.

14yrs? Was her mom happy with the picture? Has strong sexual undertones the way she is holding that instrument....could just be me though.

Pretty good shooting for a quick setup. The reflection photo's are very nice too.

Hmmm..... there's just something not right about her. Like I said, the photo has more anguish than cool rock n roll or heavy metal atmosphere.

The set up and lighting look pretty good.

What focal length are you using? What I don't like is that her head is so much farther away from the camera than her legs. It makes them look very big compared to her body/head.

The landscape shots are beautiful. They look like they should be in landscape orientation but they work well in portrait.
