Now that you can see the portrait postcard any insight from the photography/postcard side of things? I am going to try to contact my local historical society to date it by the clothes. Any of your thoughts would be appreciated.

Based on the name of the studio, Eils Bros. in Pittsburg, I will venture saying that the photo postal dates from around the beginning of the 20th century, or around 1900-1920. The only link I was able to find in regards to Eils Bros. was this:

I'd go with quite a bit earlier than that, based upon the man's shirt collar/tie and hat. 1860-1880 IMO.
