Beautiful! I'm a sucker for night shots, but these are especially good.

Thanks for looking and thanks for the comments.

As I look at them now, in a daylit room, I don't see the slight blue color that can be seen in the sky, when the room is dark. :(

very nicely done. the exposures are spot on in the first two! oh, and i can see the blue, it looks great. you should make a panoramic out of these, or do it again sometime and try it. it would look spectacular.

I am definitely impressed by the first two. What were the camera settings and equipment used?

Cool shots, I can't wait to go back to halifax in just over a month :) I know exactly where these shots were taken too, which makes them even better.

Jeff, great shots. I was going to aask for the settings, but got to the bottom and saw you posted them. I too love night shots, just not good at it yet. I've done a few, but don't have many chances here. I'll do a ton once I get home. Keep up the good work.

Wow, I really love the second one. The sky is reflecting the lights, way coolness...

Thank you all very much. :)

There was one of those spot lights, well 4 of them to be exact, shining up from the city, and moving around the sky, I think that has a lot to do with how that sky, along with the 10sec shutter, turned out. I'm quite pleased with those shots.
