Nikon EN-EL15 Battery charger

I picked up an aftermarket battery charger as a back up, I used it to charge both my batteries and low and behold it changed the life on the batterys from 0-4 after charging them.....Im sure I cant be the only one this has happed to, but cant really find anything online about this.

I read a review in amazon about aftermarket chargers doing that. According to the reviewer, if you charge it using a Nikon charger it will revert back. (at least it did for him)

I saw that also.....as soon as I discharge them a little gonna try....will report back on the subject.

UPDATE after recharging my batterys, on my Nikon factory charger, they did revert back to there normal age of 0

Nikon batteries have electronics in them 3rd party chargers can't communicate with.
