ok i just put this lense i had laying around in the local classifieds. Its a zeiss jenazoomII mc macro 70-210mm.

problem is, i put it in there assuming it was a pentax mount, and as i was searching for prices to sell it for, others reffered to it as a pentax mount aswell... but i tried to fit it on my mothers pentax and it was a no go...

someone wanna do me a favour and post a photo of the mount on one of your nikon mounted lenses? i vaguely remember when i picked it up something about it being nikon mounted. I need to correct the add soon if i am wrong.

    thanks!

I think it's on some but not all, it's not on any of mine and I have 3 Nikons.

That is a meter coupling for the old style metered veiwfinders. I've only ever seen them on Nikon lenses, so it probably is a pretty good bet (although I'm not 100% sure) that it's a Nikon mount.
