In continuing Bill's theme of being really close to red tails, I had quite the morning. Turns out George is actually a she as she has a new friend that is a bit smaller and presumably a male. They were hunting together and I even possibly saw the nest. All shot with the D7100 and 300 F4.. Thanks for looking and comments welcome..

always like to see the raptors in action.
 
Nice set my fav are one, four and six. Just out of curiosity were these cropped? How far were you from the raptors?
 
Very nice mate, my favorites are 1 and 6 from this set.

Number 6 is brilliant, but none of the others show at work. I wonder who in our IT department is the duck lover!
Thank you all! LOL #6 is the goriest of the set. I kept most of them pretty tame
Nice set my fav are one, four and six. Just out of curiosity were these cropped? How far were you from the raptors?
At one point about 7 feet according to the distance scale on the lens. They are not cropped much.. This one is not cropped at all to give you an idea...
