You were kinda close lol. Pavlova is an aussie/kiwi dessert named after a Russian Ballet dancer, Anna Pavlova.

It's basically a meringue shell filled with whipped cream and other goodies and topped with fresh summer fruit such as strawberries, kiwi fruit, other berries etc...
