Photoshop CS2 Trouble

Hi, am new to this forum. I wondered if anybody here would know of any reason why, when I try and save an altered photo in photoshop cs2 it won't save it properly. It definately won't save them as jpg's and I managed to get them to save as tiff's eventually after trying a few times whilst altering it to 8 bits or 16 bits. They just save as unrecognised files up until I get a tiff to save properly after some fiddling. If anybody has any ideas I would be grateful. Is it something obvious in the settings which needs to be changed? Thanks!

Hi and welcome!

I think it'll be something to do with the mode of the shot. I don;t have PS here at work but try changing the shot from RGB to CMYB (i think) or to some other option and i think that'll sort it.

I've had similar problems and that is usually the cause.

yep, make sure its RGB in 8bit mode.... go to 'save as'... jpeg should be there
