Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
Would like some feedback on the best SW. I am a noobie and intent to only keep photography as a hobby. I do not always have tons of time since my job and other activities I enjoy do keep me rather busy.

So I am looking for something user friendly but versatile.

Not limited to the two listed about but i assume they are the most popular.

Thanks.

i have elements 6 and it works great for everything i need it for
which is basically touching up my photos and doing an occasional composite photo
if u arent going to use photoshop more than stuff like that, elements is all you need

I would look at PaintShop Pro (Current ver X2/12). IMO, it's somewhat more versatile than Photoshop Elements, in the same general price point, and compatible with almost all Photoshop plug-ins.

you might also check out photscape, which is free and does a lot of very basic things and imho a bit above picasa

after out growing those then why not download a trial version of elements and painterpro to see which fits your needs.
