Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
All of my shots were taken on a May 2006 trip to Europe. Having gotten my first SLR just 2 weeks before the trip. A vast majority of my shots are point and shoot and amatour at best. But I have been having great time going over all 3,500 exposures from my trip. Learning allot as I go. Most of my shots are of cityscapes and architecture. But going over my shots I'm surprised that I tend to gravitate to my people shots and "abstract" closeups the most.
Here are a few I have picked out from the small fraction of photos that I have post-processed.

I LOVE the landscape photo it's just gorgeous makes you feel like you were actually there!!!

Your photos are absolutely astounding. 3, 4, 5, 5 (yes, there are two fives), 6, 7, and 8 are all wonderful!

These are all really good.
I am glad you decided to choose some and present them here directly.
The one of the nun walking past the remains of Berlin Wall has already been one that struck me as good when I first saw it, and I must say I still like that one very much.

But I am most drawn now to the two people pics from Paris, the accordeon player in Photo 5 and the painters in Photo 7.

It looks like I really like Photo 7 bestest of all ... and this is going to be my next nomination to our inofficial "POTM" = Photo of the Month - competition here on TPF!

Your pictures are beutiful. I think learning how to use your new camera is the least of your worries! Youve already got the eye for it!

good series...... number 7 (? the numbering seems to have changed since lafoto's comments).... but the landscape.... is my fav here..... great colour and perspective

Very beautiful shots. For number 1, I've allways wanted to surf something like that! I saw a video one time of a little lake that filled up RIGHT next to the ocean with just a sand bar in between. They dug out the sand and surfed all the water pouring in. Got the same effect. The never ending wave. Where is this at? Got any more descriptive photos?

Wow. I can't belive the great responce I'm getting. Thank you all very much. I also like that people pick out what their favorites are. Helps me validate what are good shots and which are not. After looking over so many of my photos from the trip, you sort of loose focus a little bit.

LaFoto: Thank you for nominating my photo, also thank you for encouraging me to post photos on this forum. Hmm 2 photos nominated. Maybe I should start naming them :)

Ghoste: This shot was taken at a river going through the middle of "Englischer Garten" in Munich. I have about 8 more pictures of the spot from different angles. But most are not as interesting. I do have one photo that was taken directly to the left of the surfing photo. Here it is (it is heavily photoshopped as posted in the "Photo Critique" forum).
