You caught the light just right! How long did you sit there waiting for the light?

:) This was the second night of a three day camping trip. I was too blown out to move around much, my campsite is about 10 feet behind me in this shot. So about 4 hours- but it was a very laid back 4 hours.

    Thanks!

    Thank you.

The days I spent out there on this trip were very meaningful to me. The day before I had shot a formation that looked like a friend of mine taking a hit off of his pipe. He grew up in the desert and never seemed to be able to get out in it like he used to. He'd work on my truck and we'd sit around and gab about ghost towns and what-not. Anyway, from the shot that looked like him on, things went real well. I got home I found out about the time I had shot the image of the formation that looked like him, he passed away- he had let diabetes go too long, he didn't know he had it. Maybe he was out there with me???
