Prevent noise in images

youre not really seeing noise, youre seeing jpeg artifacts.

here's my own cropped B&W:

and now saved poorly:

you can start to see a very similar blocking/patchy look to the image.

Do you remember the settings you used to save the second photo? And did you shoot this in RAW or JPEG? Good photo!

shot in raw, my export settings are always 100% quality and image sharpening high.

that second image was saved at 15% quality.
