Oh, this second photo here is so crisp, clear, sharp, well exposed ... and they always look so thoughtful and sad! Cool perspective ... I guess you did not have any big choice over your POV though, did you? Well, it served you (and his portrait here!) well.

Yes, the clarity of the 2nd one is fantastic. The first one has kind of a soft focus effect though.
