My buddy Joel shot moments ago. I am diggin' this one. Inspired by the rash of good headshots posted recently.

Shot with south facing light and the back of my Death of a Salesman script as a reflector. Nikon D1, ƒ4.4 @ 1/8o sunlight WB 200 ISO. Standard pshop post processing.

I questioned opening his eye as well. Generally speaking; his coolest features are in the shadows. Maybe next time.

Now that's a cool "pet pic" for a change.
Yes, I dig the lighting. Room for improvement, yes, but very much further on the way to nice lighting than I'll ever be....

Many thanks!!!! I have to give some credit to Joel for hanging out near the window.

Disclaimer: I love Joel and he loves me. He is healthy and happy. He is rarely in his cage. I know that breaks a million "keeping your reptile healthy and safe" rules.
