    To me, this flower looks particularly majestic. Comments/critiques?

    You would not happen to know what sort of flower this is going to be?
    It looks still in the budding state to me, but little do I know about flowers.

    I do like the light you had when you took this as well as the chosen DOF, very fiting. Brings out the flower and just the flower, which goes diagonally through the frame, another plus!

    The star-like shape of the branches (all totally blurred) in the background adds to the picture, too, I think.

    No idea what kind of bud this is... it was on some sort of large bush/small tree(?) Thanks as always for the comments, Corinna - it's nice to hear from you! :)
