Question for 40D or 5D owners

The one at costco was loose becuase everyone abused it testing it in the store.

On the 40D there is a two second timer you could use.

My 300D has a timer also...but that is far from ideal. That's not going to give me the control to take the shot when I want it.

Before I bought my camera, the Canon 40d I got the PDF file of the user manual book on line to see if its what i wanted and to get familiar with it. so here`s the link to the 40d just in case your might want to browse through it.

I find reading the larger print on my monitor easier on these old eyes then the reading manual. this is the exact same book that will come with the camera, just so you know. I spend a lot of time in the INDEX and then i search things out with the camera on my desk its a wonderful book. I hope this will help you make up your mind.
