Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
my friend recently inherited a canon f1, ae1, and t90, along with a bunch of lenses that will mount and meter on all three of those cameras. he wants to get an xti or xs for christmas to use all his lenses on though. is this possible? i have a feeling that the mounts are different. i ask this because i know little about canon and am unfamiliar with their lens mounts etc.

They won't mount without an optical (ie made with glass, and will therefore mar image quality) adapter. Canon made some high quality adapters in the late 80s but they very expensive and hard to come by-- really only worth tracking down if you have some very serious FD glass. They were made to lure people shooting with FD L series telephotos over to EOS. There are cheaper adapters made, but everything I've seen indicates that the quality is terrible. His best bet is probably to just try out shooting some film for a while :).

i figured that would be the case unfortunately:(

I agree. Probably best to just use those lenses on those cameras.
