I love texture photos like this...

I would suggest maybe "de-bluing" the photo a bit..it'd give the whole thing a lot less of a generic feel. Other than that, it's great

EDIT: Try also to up the contrast..I just tried it, and a really sweet gradient effect shows up in the background

Thanks for the tips, i desaturated it a bit, and upped the contrast (it was the contrast that made it so blue!) any better?

hmm...the desaturation is a bit too much. What software do you use?

Don't get me wrong, though..it looks much better..the blobby shapes are emphasized more

I'm using Photoshop CS4. Maybe i just need to mess around with it a bit more :scratch:

blur is a bit much and i kind of like the color in the first one just toned down a bit.
