[request] RAW picture sample

Hey guys,
Ive been recently reading up on some new cameras that are out and wanted to find out how important RAW format is in a camera. I own Canon S2 IS which doesnt support RAW format.

So I would like to get a RAW image (or a few) and play around with it and see its advantages firsthand. Also any recommendations/info toward this topic is welcome.

I figured I can still sell my camera if its worth the switch.
