Retreiving information from a memory stick

I recently had probs with my comp and lost all my information including my photos. I tend to move the photos from the memory stick to my HD. and I desperatly need the las photos I moved from it. Is there a way to retreive information onece it has ben moved? like an un erase utility?

On line I got emergency recovery software one night for $40US. When I first got the D-70 they gave me an old card reader at work that corrupted my images. I just happened to shoot some family promp photos so I really had to get the images back. It worked really well. If I remember right it was through the sandisk site.

well I found this site http://www.x-ways.net/index-e.html were you can download the trial versions to know if they will work getting the pictures back, and then you can buy the full progs... seems hopefull enough I´ll let you know if it works
