Road Trip to Cali!

Hey gang.

I am taking my first business trip to the Hollywood CA area and I will have some downtime to sightsee. I don't really want to cram everything into one trip but I wanted to know from the "locals" where are the "must photograph" areas around Hollywood, Malibu, West L.A. area?

Looking forward to shooting there but I don't want to waste all day searching.

I'm sure you could find tons of cool stuff to take pictures of at Newport Beach, Venice Beach and Malibu. Malibu has some beautiful cliffs and beautiful houses that are built on them.

I'd say Santa Monica Pier and 3rd Street Santa Monica at night can be interesting.
