pine tree sap!!!!

these were taken at K's arboritum in an area called majestic pines. they are about 100-150 feet tall. did i capture their magisty?
and what about the conversions to B&W??

I'd say numbers 2 and 4 do a good job of showing the towering trees. The colour version doesn't do the same job but I couldn't tell you why! . I do like the colour though, for the blue of the sky.

I think I know why the colour doesn't have the same towering effect - the blue is darker and so appears closer to the viewer, whereas the light sky in the B&W seems to be much further away :thumbup: .

these are great! #2 all the way! #4 is good too. I've taken photos with this perspective, but never had this kind of result, beautiful! the trees are so evenly spaced too...

they were planted by people so they are very ordered. its just amazing though to lay on the ground looking up especially if there is wind because then the trees just sway and if thats all you can see it feels like the ground is swaying with you
