Can others edit my Photos

So recently I have been playing around with some of my pictures in photoshop and I have been using the PSD format to save it as I go. Now when I go to save it as a jpg, it loses a lot of the image quality. I'm not talking just a few small things here and there... the image is massively different than what I see in PSD format vs. jpg. The PSD file is approximatly 70 mb and the saved jpeg file comes out at 25.4 mb.

Specifically, the image loses a lot of brightness overall and just doesn't look as appealing as it does in the psd format.

Below is a screenshot that I took with print screen from both the jpg and what I'm seeing in photoshop. The top image is jpg, and the bottom is what I'm seeing in photoshop. Can anyone help me get a jpg that is closer to what I'm actually seeing in photoshop?

It's the amount of compression. Try saving as TIFF file. Read up on TIFF files for more info, I'm still fairly new. Was having the same problem as you. Hope this helps!
