Today in between clients I have decided to create an artsy portrait of myself. I did not need to look good. I wanted people to stop and think when they looked at the shot. I am no model material. That's for sure.

What makes a portrait photographer to shoot artistic self portraits of themselve?

I have several photographer friends who are their own best subjects. I have admired their works for years.

Well this was my first essay. I hope it will not be the last. I had great fun shooting and editing it.

It was shot hand held with my Lumix G1 with available light.

I call this "Do You Hear Them As I Did?"

    Comments and critiques are welcome.

    Cheers,

    Hera
