here are a few from yesterday ...... let me know how everything is looking.
The first one isn't great. She's looking away and her fingers are purple (was it that cold?)
#2 is better. The tones and exposure a good but she still looks either cold or uncomfortable.
In #3, she is looking more comfortable and #4 looks to be the best of the bunch.
#5 looks a little too contrasty to me. #6 is better.
Overall, I like the color ones better. She has great hair color and the warm tones (hair, clothes, background) really go well together.
thanks for the reply mike...
yes it was chilly out in the morning when we started
i think that looks frostbite purple... i would just do some quick selective coloring on her hands and pull that out..
I agree with #4 being the best of the bunch..
Great job overall in my opinion, keep it up
#3 is probably my fav, #6 is okay for me.
What you shot looks good. Can we see some of the others? The leaning against a tree or post does not seem too creative.

I would agree that #4 is the best, however, there is a stick that looks like it is coming out of her bottom. Other than that I say keep up the good work.
this was my first portrait session and I just wanted to know if I was on the right track.
the one thing I know I need work on is getting a variety of poses.
Ok I here is my attempt at the purple skin in #1.
let me know what you think .....better or worse ?
I think your crop look a little wierd, like missing figures and toes. I like the crop in 1, and 6, the rest of the crop is a bit distracting for me. Just my 2 cent.
#4 is excellent (agree with the stick comment, though). #3 is good on your part...wish she looked more at ease, but her hair/pose/coloring looks wonderful. Nice work overall.
