settings to use on sb700

i have a nikon d500 and recently i purchased sb 700 speedlight. can any one tell my the default settings to use on the flash. i will be covering an engagement function shortly. the trial shots that i took appeared very bright.

[MTVision]

Mount on your camera - there is a little slider to the left (on back on flash) of the LCD. Make sure it's set to ttl. Then you adjust your settings and the flash/camera will determine everything else.
