Should I get Nikon's 10.5mm fisheye even if I'm eventually upgrading to full frame?

So I have a choice between the 10.5mm and 16mm fisheye. I currently have a nice arsenal of DX lens (see sig) but am definitely going full frame somewhere down the line. I started making smarter purchases in regards to this and buying FX lenses that work well and suit my purposes on DX too.

The 10.5mm is cheaper but I feel like the 16mm is a better investment. But I've heard that DX's crop sensor drastically decreases the fisheye effect.

You can still use the 10.5 on an FX body by shooting in DX mode. Problem solved.

If you put the 16 on a DX body, you won't get the full 180°.

I'd look for used 10.5. When you go to FX, the investment loss will be minimal.

If not look for a Samyang 8mm 3.5 variant. I can't justify the price of the Nikkor so the Rokinon($279 new - I paid $200 used)
made good sense to me. As well as being relatively inexpensive, it is optically superb.

Edit: Forgot to mention the Samyang is manual focus. Set the aperture to F8 and focus distance to around 2 feet and nearly all 180 degrees is in focus. :)

I'd just buy a used 10.5 and after upgraded to FX then sell it again..
