Perhaps too much Photoshop. Also somewhat sloppy.

Can anyone tell me why the line between the sky and the sign is so jagged? I'm guessing it boils down to too much contrast and too much sharpening. But I'd like to hear from someone who knows the program better than myself (just about anyone). Thanks.

First, the line: my guess is oversharpening or compression. If it's from sharpening, you can use the smudge tool and easily cover it up.

Second, who cares I like it. I think you gave this a great, moody treatment. I don't care for the square crop...but I'm not sure any other crop would work better.

Thanks for the kind words.

As for the crop, it's 6cm x 6cm medium format shot through a Holga. Any crop would unbalance the vignetting that the camera likes to make.

Maybe later tonight or sometime tomorrow I'll go back and play with it. I'd like to fix the masking around the sign and then see what I can do about correcting the edge.
