Hello. I am just getting into digital photography. I have a Canon G3 with the 52mm adapter tube. I purchased an Accura Slide duplicator on Ebay which has 52mm threads. The distance from where it attaches to the Canon to where the slide is inserted is approximately 65mm. I can't bring the slide into focus at this distance (either macro or normal setting). Any ideas on whether adding distance through a longer tube or perhaps a macro lens filter to solve this problem. I noticed other slide duplicators for this type of camera seem to have a longer tube than this configuration. I'm trying to save money and don't want to spend $70.00 on the slide duplicator made for the G3. Thanks for any help on this issue.
